‘Through the Lens: Life as an Army Photographer’ by Sgt Cameron Eden

❝The brave ones shot bullets, the crazy ones shot film.❞ – Joseph Longo, founder of the International Combat Camera Association.

Tonight we welcome Sergeant Cameron Eden, a photographer with the Royal Logistics Corps, for a fascinating talk.

Cameron will give us an insight into the role and training of Army photographers, and share some of his incredible experiences, including live fire exercises, VIPs visits and even ice-breaking with the Navy in Antarctica.

The photos and videos to be shared will illustrate the breadth of work undertaken by the modern Army, with real creative and emotional impact. Showing that as the “crazy ones” shoot film, they really are also capturing some of history’s most defining moments!
