Welsh Waterfalls

August – David Locke

Here is an opportunity to reprise the successful trip that David led back in March 2024, and this time we are looking to experience some Autumnal colour.

Parking is very limited, but the Comin Y Rhos – Four Waterfalls Car Park can be found at:  Ystradfellte Road, Pontneddfechan, Neath SA11 5US

If you went on the trip last time you will recall the fantastic café at the start of the walk and its delicious bacon sandwiches and Lava bread.

David has threatened to change the walking order this time, so that we can see some different waterfalls this time.

If you fancy getting close to or in the water, Wellington boots are recommended as are tripods for long exposure shots. Please note that the rocks in the water can be extremely slippery so venture on to them at your own risk.

The waterfalls are free to enter, but you may have to pay for parking (£5 for all day?)

Please understand, our club insurance does not cover us for anything we do outside of our monthly meetings at Kennet Valley Hall.
So, if you have concerns about your kit, please take out your own cover, or investigate if it is included in your home insurance?
