This charts my journey into creative portraits, discussing how to get started, the value of collaboration with others, thoughts composition and style, the importance of shooting for yourself, all illustrated with prints on Fotospeed papers and inks prints.  Images are accompanied with a description of the processing in an attempt to de-mystify and to encourage members of the audience to become more adventurous and have a go themselves. If time permits (rarely does) I show how I made some of the creative images, including ‘before and after’ shots.
